What We Do

Honor the Promise is focused on resettling our Afghan allies that were evacuated and relocated by the U.S. Government to the U.S.

Our major focus areas are:

Community engagement: connecting Afghans to one another as well as to the U.S. Veteran community)

Workforce development: collaborating with upskilling/reskilling programs and companies to meaningfully employ Afghan allies

Holistic health: providing access to English language programs as well as financial, mental, and physical wellness events)

Storytelling: elevating the voices of our Afghan allies through oral history and documentary projects).

Honor the Promise assists members of the Afghan Special Operations community and their families build resilience as they resettle in the U.S. so they can live their American Dream, become contributing members of American society, and feel a sense of belonging.
